Which ROOXIS product do you need?
Start from the problem you're trying to fix.
Slow WiFi everywhere → a router
If your whole home is slow or your router is several years old, replace the router. The new AX3000 brings WiFi 6 — more devices at once, Gigabit ports and EasyMesh — while every ROOXIS router is dual-band: 5GHz for fast streaming nearby, 2.4GHz for range through walls.
Dead zones in some rooms → an extender
If WiFi is fine near the router but drops in a bedroom, garage or garden, add an extender. It plugs into a wall outlet, and repeats your existing router's WiFi into the weak area — you keep the router you already have.
Keeping an eye on home → a camera
Choose the weatherproof outdoor camera for driveways, doors and yards, or an indoor pan-and-tilt camera for pets, kids and rooms. All of them work in the free Smart Life app and record to a microSD card with no subscription.

Not always. A router is the heart of your home network — it connects to your modem and creates your WiFi. An extender is an add-on: it repeats an existing router's signal into rooms where WiFi is weak. Start with a router if yours is old or slow everywhere; add an extender if WiFi is fine near the router but drops out in far rooms.
No. ROOXIS cameras connect to any home WiFi router that broadcasts a 2.4GHz network, which nearly all dual-band routers do. They don't connect over 5GHz.
Cameras use the free Smart Life app (or Tuya Smart, with the same account). The router and extender don't need an app — you set them up in a web browser: the router at 192.168.10.1, the extender at 192.168.8.1 or home.to.
No subscription is required. ROOXIS cameras record to a microSD card (up to 128GB) inside the camera; cloud storage is an optional extra if you want footage stored off the device.
